What Makes It Pro-Grade?

Core 24-6-12 lawn fertilizer comparison image

Small Particle Size

Standard consumer fertilizer granules are 60% bigger than the size of Core 24-6-12 granules. The pros prefer formulas with smaller particles because it provides more complete and uniform coverage, which boosts the product’s effectiveness.

When to Apply Core 24-6-12

This all-purpose fertilizer can be applied to all turf types any time it is actively growing. It contains a combination of quick- and slow-release nitrogen for both immediate and extended feeding. Core 24-6-12 feeds for up to 8 weeks and can be reapplied at 6-8 week intervals.

Pro Tips for Best Results

Check The Forecast

Avoid applying before heavy rainfall so particles don't get washed away.

Mow First

Clear any lawn debris and make it easier for particles to reach the soil.

Clean Up

Sweep or blow product off the driveways/sidewalks back into the lawn.

Water Deep

Your lawn will need at least 0.2 inches of water.

Spreader Settings

We recommend using a broadcast spreader. These spreader settings are a guide. Many variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. Be sure to calibrate your spreader before every application.

This is the quality fertilizer

"This is the quality fertilizer I’ve been looking for. Unlike the big box store mixes, It consists of very uniform, small spherical particles with no dust to foul or clog my spreader. The small particles give a very uniform coverage. It is the perfect component mix for a fall winterizer. It’s been two weeks since I put it down (one bag on 12,000 sq ft) and my yard has greened remarkably following a very stressful hot summer drought. Worth the money!"

I have been using The

"I have been using The Andersons products for years. I highly recommend their products over anything available on the market. I have used PGF Complete, Core 24-6-12, Fall lawn food and the NutraLime OP Hi Mag Lime to correct an acidic soil on a south-east Michigan lawn. Very high quality compared to other products."

— Jeff W. (5/5)

"Have used Anderson products in the past - had a lawn service managing my lawn for the summer, after several “discussions” with the technician decided to stop using them. What a great move, the Andersons Lawn Core brought it back in 2 weeks - very pleased once again"

Best fertlizer for bermuda grass hybrid sod.

"This is hands down the best fertilizer I've used on my lawn in three years. I use it exclusively through the growing season. I've tried other brands and they work too, but this is seems to give me the results I've been looking for. I get a nice healthy deep green bermuda that looks the best on the block. I will continue to use thos product until its no longer available."
