Professional Insect Control

Duocide comparison gif

Above and Below Surface Control

DuoCide combines two professional-grade insecticides in a unique multi-mode formula to eliminate pests both above and below the lawn's surface.

DG Technology

DuoCide is made with our patented Dispersing Granule (DG) Technology. When this product comes into contact with water, each granule breaks down into thousands of micro-particles, helping move the product down into the soil profile more efficiently.

Small Particle Size

DuoCide features an extremely small particle size. This means you get more complete and uniform coverage, which boosts the product’s effectiveness.

When to Apply DuoCide

DuoCide can be used on all turf types. The application timing and rates for DuoCide depends on the pest(s) being targeted.

Surface Pests

Surface pests are above the thatch layer. These types of pests include ants, spiders, ticks, billbugs chinch bugs and more. DuoCide should be applied when these pests or turf damage from them first appears.

Subsurface Pests

Subsurface pests are below the thatch layer in the soil. These types of pests include white grubs, mole crickets, june beetles, armyworms and more. DuoCide should be applied 10-14 days after egg-laying and/or when turf damage is first noticed.

Water In

DuoCide must be watered in immediately after application. Do not enter or allow others to enter the treated area (except those involved in the watering-in) until the watering-in is completed and the area has dried.

The duocide is fine but

"The duocide is fine but I recently ordered a new bag of super juice and it is stuck together as one big block. I can’t scoop it. This is the second consecutive bag of super juice that has been like this. Is there anything that can be done about this issue. I have no way of effectively breaking it apart and getting a good measurement ."

Lasting results for grubs and fire ants

"I use this product once per quarter and it’s done an amazing job of keeping the fire ants here in Texas at bay. I also love that it controls grubs, avoiding the brown spots that inevitably occur in early summer from grubs. I’m a huge fan of all The Andersons products, and combine this with applications of Barricade as my pre-emergent, and pgf complete as my fertilizer."

Have all kinds of bugs

"Have all kinds of bugs here in Florida. Took care of fire ants immediately."

Steve H. (5/5)

Haven’t had it long enough

"Haven’t had it long enough to tell how good but if it’s as good as your other products then it will be great too!!"

James C. (5/5)

Not looking for any type

"Not looking for any type of discount. I have used and will continue to use Andersons products for several years because they are the best! I do want you to be aware that the last bag of duocide I received had several large clumps in the bag which caused the spreader to clog. I was able to break them up easily but I have never had to do this before. Just wanted Andersons to be aware of this."

Mike B. (3/5)
