Professional-Grade Soil Amendment

DG Technology

Humic DG is made with our patented Dispersing Granule (DG) Technology. When this product comes into contact with water, each granule breaks down into thousands of micro-particles, helping move the product down into the soil profile, past the thatch layer of your lawn or the mulch in your garden bed, and into the soil without any raking, digging, or tilling.

Highly Concentrated Humic

Humic DG contains 70% readily-available humic acid, fulvic acid and humin. This is highly concentrated compared to other humic acid products on the market that, on average, have 12% humic acid. In sandy soils, humic acid increases water holding capacity and decreases evaporation. In clay and other compact soils, it enables deeper water and root penetration.

When to Apply Humic DG

Humic DG can be applied on its own or used in conjunction with other granular applications.

Humic DG has a cumulative response in turf - reapply every 3-4 weeks for best results.

Turf

Apply 1-4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. anytime during the growing season.

Gardens & Flower Beds

Apply 1-2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. anytime during the growing season.

Trees & Shrubs

Apply 2-8 oz. as a band around the base of each tree or shrub. Larger trees and shrubs should use the higher rate.

Potting Soils

Mix in 2-10 lbs. per cubic yard of potting mix.

I had a soil test

"I had a soil test done. Put down lime, and a medium rate of both the humic dg and the bio char. Lawn doesn’t look any different than the neighbors yard who doesn’t do anything but mow his grass. It definitely does not look like the one month change in the YouTube video of the yard makeover. I have no proof that it works but I do not see any negative effects in the yard. I will be using the Surge weed and feed as soon as the temperatures are right."
