When to Apply Deep Green

Deep Green can be applied any time turf is actively growing. With the combination of quick- and slow-release nitrogen, this formula will feed for up to 8 weeks.

For best results, re-apply every 6-8 weeks during the growing season
For cool season grasses, apply at the light to medium rate. If temperatures exceed 85°F, apply at the light to low rate
For warm season grasses, apply at the medium or high rate

Pro Tips for Best Results

Check The Forecast

Sweep or blow product off the driveways/sidewalks back into the lawn.

Water Deep

Spreader Settings

We recommend using a broadcast spreader. These spreader settings are a guide. Many variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. Be sure to calibrate your spreader before every application.

so far so good

"I switched to Andersons from another big name online fertilizer company and have already noticed a difference. The company I was using started off with just a small amount of products which worked well, but over the past few years they seemed to sell out and are pushing everything. I live in central North Carolina. I just want to confirm it’s ok to apply this to fescue grass this time of year. It’s usually upper 80’s or low 90’s during the day.: Hi there, yes it is! We recommend applying in the morning or evening when the temperatures are cooler, and then water it in immediately.
