When to Apply EcoFusion Starter

EcoFusion Starter is safe for use on all turf types and is designed for use when establishing new turf or renovating current turf. It can be used as a maintenance fertilizer when the need is indicated from soil test results. In this case, reapply every 4-6 weeks in spring and fall for best results. Avoid applying in temperatures higher than 85°F and in dry conditions.

For new lawn seed or sod, apply EcoFusion Starter at the recommended rate. Work into soil 2- 3 inches deep, before spreading seed or laying sod. Spring and fall are ideal times to seed.

This formula contains 5% iron for extra-deep greening. Sweep any product on driveways and sidewalks back onto your lawn as this product will stain. DO NOT WASH OFF WITH WATER.

Avoid applying before heavy rainfall so particles don't get washed away.

Mow First

Clear any lawn debris and make it easier for particles to reach the soil.

Clean Up

Sweep or blow product off the driveways/sidewalks back into the lawn.

Water Deep

Your lawn will need at least 0.2 inches of water.

Don't Bag It

Leave lawn clippings for at least one mowing to avoid particle pick-up.

We recommend using a broadcast spreader. These spreader settings are a guide. Many variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. Be sure to calibrate your spreader before every application.
