DG Technology

Made with the Andersons patented DG (dispersible granule) Technology, NutraLime OP Hi-Mag Lime is more effective and faster acting than traditional pulverized lime products. DG Technology allows each NutraLime granule to quickly and completely disperse after coming into contact with water from rain or irrigation, allowing the product to reach its intended destination – the root zone.

How to Apply NutraLime

Applying NutraLime

All successful lawns and gardens need proper soil pH control as an important part of their maintenance program. For a beautiful and healthy lawn and garden, apply NutraLime OP Hi-Mag Lime any time during the growing season. This product will not cause any burning and is safe for use around kids and pets. To determine the NutraLime Op Hi-Mag Lime requirements for your lawn or garden, a simple soil test is suggested. In the absence of a test, the following recommendations should be followed.

NutraLime for Lawns

  • New Lawns: 40 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. – rake lightly into the soil before seeding
  • Established lawns: 12 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. – for clay soils, increase to 18 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
  • Maintenance: Repeat 1-2 times per year, or whenever soil pH drops below 6.3, at a rate of 4-6 lbs. of NutraLime OP Hi-Mag Lime per 1,000 sq. ft.

NutraLime for Gardens

  • Gardens have a deeper root zone than lawns and require a higher rate. For best results, double lawn recommendations and mix to a depth of 6 inches.

"Very good experience using this product to bring up my PH levels in my yard."

This stuff just works

"I’ve used this in the past to get my PH levels up and where they need to be, this product worked like a champ. This year my PH was way down for whatever reason more than likely our drought last year, but instead of using this product I went to a box store and bought there’s due to trying to get it done fast. The big box store product did absolutely nothing after 2 rounds. I got on Anderson’s website and ordered this product in which I should have in the first place. I put it on my lawn and after just one rain my PH went up 5-7 points. This stuff works, just buy it."

Q&A

Can i appy nutralime along with Humic DG? Or need to apply separately? How long we need to wait duration between them?
NutraLime and Humic DG may be applied at the same time. Apply one, then the other. Do not mix in a spreader. Always follow recommended application rates.
Can I lay this with topsoil, seed, and fertilizer after I aerate? Or should it be laid on its own before aerating, if so how long should I wait before aeration?
If you plan on aerating, NutraLime is recommended to be applied after doing so. It is perfectly fine to apply NutraLime at the same time as seeding and fertilizing.
Is it okay to apply without core aeration of lawn? Walmart price is 33 dollars a bag for nutralime OP. I would rather order it directly from you. Can you match the price. I am very interested in trying your product for the first time! Thank you!
Yes, you may apply NutraLime without aerating.
