Controls more than 80 broadleaf and grassy weeds, including black medic, crabgrass, chickweed, clover, dandelion, goosegrass, henbit, nutsedge, spurge, thistle, wild violet and more

When To Apply

Q4® Plus Turf Herbicide should be applied when weeds are young, actively growing, and easy to control. Ideal application times are during spring and early summer when crabgrass, yellow nutsedge, and other broadleaf weeds begin to emerge. Avoid applying during drought stress or extreme heat, as this can reduce effectiveness and risk turf injury. Always check the weather forecast to ensure there’s no rain expected for at least 24 hours after application for best results.

PRO TIPS

Apply to dry turf. Make sure grass is dry before spraying to help the product stick and absorb evenly.
Avoid mowing two days before and two days after.
Water 24 hours before application and 24 hours after application.
Granular fertilizer applications can be made before application or 24 hours after application.
Do not apply when temperatures are above 90°F
For newly seeded areas: Delay application of this product to grass seedlings until after the second or third mowing, or 28 days after emergence.
Seeding after application: Wait at least one week after application before reseeding or overseeding. For Kentucky Bluegrass, wait at least 14 days after application before reseeding or overseeding.
PPE is recommended while applying (rubber/plastic boots, gloves, long pants, long sleeves, nitrile gloves, and goggles/glasses)

It controls crabgrass, foxtail, chickweed, clover, dandelion, yellow nutsedge, and many other listed grassy and broadleaf weeds.

It is safe for Kentucky bluegrass, annual ryegrass, perennial ryegrass, fescus, bermuda and zoysia. Do not use on bahia, bentgrass, St. Augustine, carpetgrass, centipedegrass or dichondra.

Most listed turfgrasses can be reseeded as soon as one week after applying Q4® Plus.

Delay mowing 2 days before and until 2 days after the application of this product. Additional stress from low mowing heights may increase the possibility of turf injury.

"I had been in Sportsturf Management and High-End lawn care for 20 years and I have never found 1 herbicide this great. With this herbicide you don't need any others. Is it safe for dogs: Once the spray has completely dried, pets can go back out onto the lawn.

I've been trying to rid my bermuda lawn of the bahia, would this do the job?: Hi there, both Quintessential and Q4 Plus do not recommend application on bahiagrass as it is susceptible to the products. We suggest testing them in a small area of your lawn to see if you get the results you are looking for.
Hello: Am I missing it? How many SF does a bottle cover? When can pets go back on lawn? Can you use a hose end sprayer or must you use a tank sprayer? Thank you!: 1 bottle of Quinessential covers up to 6,800 sqft..It is best to use a pump/tank sprayer to apply.It’s safe for pets once the spray has completely dried. Keep your pets off the lawn until it’s dry to make sure they don’t get any on their paws or fur.
