The Benefits of Seaweed + Fulvic Acid

Seaweed Extract Builds Resilience

Seaweed extract, particularly from Ascophyllum nodosum, works by supporting the natural systems within your lawn. Instead of forcing top growth, it helps strengthen the plant from the ground up. One of the most noticeable benefits is improved root development. A lawn with deeper, more robust roots can access moisture and nutrients more effectively, which becomes critical during heat and drought.

The Role of Fulvic Acid

Fulvic acid complements seaweed extract by improving how your lawn uses nutrients. Because it is readily absorbed through both leaves and roots, it moves quickly within the plant, helping deliver nutrients where they’re needed most. During summer stress, when nutrient uptake naturally slows, this becomes especially important.

When to Apply Seaweed Supplement

This product is designed to be applied ahead of increasing air temperatures to help support lawns through summer stress and is intended to be used as a supplement to your existing lawn care routine. Multiple applications enhance performance of this product. Shake well before using. Avoid watering-in Seaweed Supplement. It is best to let it sit on the grass after application. Seaweed Supplement does not replace watering– water is essential for maintaining your lawn, and your lawn should receive 1-2 inches of water per week.

Applying Using a Spray Tank

  • Mix 6 ounces of product with one gallon of water and apply at the rate of one gallon of mix per 1,000 sq. ft.

Applying Using a Hose-End Sprayer

  • Use a yellow (60:1) hose-end sprayer
  • Fill with 32 oz. of Seaweed Supplement
  • Attach to hose while the sprayer is in the "off" position. Turn the water on.
  • Once you are in the area you intend to apply product, turn the spray head attachment to "on." Spray evenly while walking at a steady pace (about 3 mph) moving the nozzle side to side to cover an area of approximately 6 ft. wide.
  • Coverage may vary based on walking speed and water pressure
  • One 32 oz bottle should treat 5,000-6,000 sq. ft.
