Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food 26-0-6

Kickstart your lawn with this pre-emergent weed control and fertilizer combo. It helps wake up your lawn from winter dormancy while stopping weeds like crabgrass, foxtail, and goosegrass before they sprout. Apply in early spring before weeds germinate for best results. Weed & Feed 24-0-16

Take control of stubborn weeds with this post-emergent herbicide, tackling over 250 types of weeds like dandelions, clover, and chickweed. We recommend using a broadcast spreader. These spreader settings are a guide. Many variables such as walking speed, terrain, particle size, density, and spreader condition can affect these settings. Be sure to calibrate your spreader before every application.

Each bag included in the lawn program covers up to 5,000 sq. ft.. When you purchase a the program, you will get enough bags of each product for the desired coverage you select. For example, if you select the "10,000 sq. ft." option, you will receive 2 bags of each product.

Other fertilizers can be used in between the Lawn Program's applications if necessary. Ensure you are spreading out fertilizer applications at least 30 days from each other.

Other control products by The Andersons such as DuoCide®, Prophesy® and soil amendments can be applied in conjunction with the program without harm.

Refer to other products' labels for their instructions about applying with other products.

Each product has its own watering instructions. Step 1, 3 and 4 should be applied to wet grass and watered-in after application while step 2 needs to be applied to wet grass and not watered-in for at least 24 hours. Please refer to each product's label for their individual requirements.

Once the products have been watered-in (refer to each label for its watering requirements) and the lawn has then completely dried, pets are safe to enter back out onto the lawn.

Hello, im looking at your 6 step program for 30k sqft. I have been an active customer for several years. I noticed that you deliver all the bags at once? I don’t think my UPS driver would like that. How many bags are we talking about and at what spreader setting are u basing the package/rate for use? Thank you.: The 30,000 sqft. option for the Andersons Lawn Program Plus 6-step program would have 36 bags total. There would be 2 bags per box, totaling 18 boxes for delivery. The square footage is an estimate as all of the products have different spreader settings and usage guidelines. Typically, it is measured by the lowest spreader setting.

I need to dethatch my lawn this spring, but I've read doing that too early can damage your lawn after winter. Is it possible to apply the pre emergent and let it "activate", then dethatch /aerate later this spring before over seeding? Located in Missouri, and we're having an unusually warm spring so I'm concerned about soil temp. If you disrupt the soil after applying a pre-emergent, you will be disrupting the pre-emergent herbicide barrier in the soil.
I am going to take care of my lawn myself this year. I reside in Southern New Hampshire. I have an underground irrigation system on an automated watering schedule. The water is VERY high in iron. It does not include grub control, but you can additionally apply DuoCide to treat grubs and/or GrubOut 17-0-3, which is a good option for preventing grubs. DuoCide can be applied when you suspect you have grubs active in your lawn - typically April/May and then again in September. GrubOut 17-0-3 is best applied before grubs hatch - typically in- typically in June.
